- The titles WindMan, WindWoman and WindTeam are honorary titles awarded to best performing triathletes without any misconduct, during or after the event, not contradicting the spirit of the triathlon sport in general and this event in particular. The honorary title can be subsequently withdrawn from a title holder due to above rule.

- Fair competition placement for Olympic and Sprint Categories in each age group excludes these Elite competitors who placed within first 10 in their most recent Ironman or within first 5 in their most recent Half-/Longdistance course.
- Fair competition placement for the Windman-Half category in each age group excludes the Elite who placed within first 5 in their most recent "Full" course competition.
- Elite placement is preliminary until verified by above rule.

- Chip Timing ? : Because of the limited 501 registrations, we do not need expensive chip timming that is loaded into your registration fees. Stopwatch timing is used at many check points and is accurate within a rounded nearest minute; i.e. 21' :21" is 21 minutes and 21:35 is 22 minutes; i.e. all times below are accurate within 30 seconds. Participants times are recorded in passing sequence at several check point. Again, this is not the Olympics or a crowded race where chip timing is needed for acurate palcing. MADATORY, however : Please always ware your race number on the back and front during biking and running, and on both sides of your swim cap to get your split times.
