Becoming a Leader: A Golf Analogy

Greg Norman says that after he shot his first,
official score of 108, the golf club assigned me the maximum allowed handicap of 27. Well, I was determined to reduce that number. Not only did I practice diligently, but I went out and bought two books by Jack Nicklaus….Golf My Way…55 Ways to Lower Your Score….I kept those books with me all the time, marking them up and dog-earing the pages…and to this day I still have those books. From there I started going to junior golf clinics but I knew that in order to get better, I would need on-on-one coaching. So I started taking lessons…he drilled me on the basics….I developed my own practice system….I would spend the rest of the day on the driving range….I didn’t go out there and hit until I got tired, I backed of before I got tired.
