Tech (Nigeria) Ltd. is a Nigerian company registered under the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, was first established as an Energy and Telecommunication company for supplying the industry with a total solution package bringing together different companies with various expertise and knowledge. The founders of the company have brought together a wealth of experience from previous jobs and practice. The Directors have several years experience in community development and have served in government and the private sector on various projects. They and other key personnel have also been involved in the building of clinics, schools and agricultural projects, water projects, telecommunications, gas and oil-related projects and services.
M.L. Tech (Nigeria) Ltd. is in partnership with Hampden Pait Holdings Ltd. (HPH), a privately held Canadian-based exploration and production company. Hampden Pait Holdings Ltd. was founded to focus on refining and product distribution, recovery of hydrocarbon reserves through acquisitions and project development with a major emphasis on mature and marginal field enhancement, developmental exploitation drilling and low-risk exploration opportunities; as well as the production of bio-fuels as an alternative energy source.
M.L. Tech (Nigeria) Ltd. is committed to technical skills transfer and project management skills development. Not withstanding the empowerment requirements, it is in the interest of M.L. Tech (Nigeria) Ltd. to ensure that our joint venture partners, where applicable, acquire the necessary technical, administrative, project management and general management competencies and skills, to successfully and profitably operate in our industry, as our partners in the true sense of the word.
Our approach to development is based on the belief that community participation is necessary in planning and implementation of the project. We shall always encourage a situation where the community achieves a sense of ownership of the project; involvement in the process and a feeling or pride in the finished product/project and its maintenance.

Tech (Nigeria) Ltd. and Hampden Pait Holdings Ltd. seek to provide reliable technical services to both national and international stakeholders operating in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector in tapping the country’s oil wealth as a vehicle for economic growth and improved living standards for its citizens. Both M.L. Tech (Nigeria) Ltd. and HPH therefore focus on working within clearly defined governance arrangements, based on internationally acceptable standards and within the framework of local laws, in the development of Nigeria’s oil and gas potential. Given these corporate values and principles, we have a longer-term view of participation in the oil and gas industry, which enables us to focus on: (a) developing strong and lasting partnerships with communities where drilling and other infrastructure development activities are taking place; (b) local Nigerian management and control of key company operations and assets; (c) training of Nigerian nationals to take over key functions and activities both downstream and upstream; (d) direct transfer of technology to increase efficient and reduce production costs; and (e) partnership with government and agencies in the oil and gas sector.
Our Strategy and Approach
Our key entry point is the establishing of a refinery and provision of drilling services, primarily in the Nigerian Delta region where new oil deposits have been identified. Concurrent with our drilling services, we will provide other key services including equipment and spares, servicing and repairs of existing oil wells, etc. Through this venture, we will form strategic partnerships with individual Nigerian operators who have acquired licenses for marginal oilfields to bring these areas into operation. The next step will be the transition to offshore oil technology, focusing on the coastal and deep waters in Nigeria as well as areas of the Joint Development Zone (JDZ) encompassing the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe.
